Team Commitment Levels
"National" teams need the most commitment. They’re for athletes aiming for top-level play and compete in the most competitive tournaments. Expect the toughest competition and out-of-state travel, including some flights.
"Elite" teams require less commitment than National. They suit competitive players and compete regionally, with occasional out-of-state travel.
"Regional" teams need the least commitment. They’re best for newer players or those who prefer minimal travel.
For the 2026–2027 USAV season, age divisions are based on the athlete’s birthdate. A player’s division is their age on July 1, 2026.
